Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I've just been real busy lately. But about your piece here. I think the shading is very well placed and your execution is superb. The sails look alright to me, I don't think they look all that silly at all. I especially like the rock formations you've placed around the ship. This gives a nice emotion to the piece especially with those high waves and tides slamming against them. This feeling of adventure if you will. I think you did a fine job.
